Policies

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice by phone before your stay at Hyclass Ocean Campground. A one night stay charge will be applied if a cancellation notice is not received within the time period. Cancellations are accepted by phone (email cancellations are not accepted).  Our phone number is 1-866-892-3117
 
We are happy to provide a full refund less a processing fee of $5 for reservations canceled prior to 48 hours from check in time on the date of your arrival.

Online booking fees are non refundable.
No refunds or cancellations can be made for inclement weather.

Reservations canceled 48 hours or less from check in time on the date of your arrival will be charged a one night fee plus a processing fee of $5.
No shows will be charged for their entire stay.
Any refunds owed will be refunded to the credit card on file.

Check-in

RV’s or tents: check in time is 1 pm– 9 pm.  Cabins check in time is 3 pm.  Please inform us if you want to check in outside of this time.

Check-out

Check out time is By 11:00 am.

Pets

Pets are a part of many camping families and friendly pets are always welcome. Animal’s owners are completely liable for their pet. Pets are never to be left unattended and must be on a leash. Please clean up after your pet. Pets are prohibited on the playground and in the campground buildings.

Reservations

Reservations require a credit card and will be charged the full amount at the time of reservation plus a reservation fee.  You will receive an email confirmation.

If you don't receive this email, please let us know either by calling us, or emailing us.

Valuables

Watch and secure your personal property/valuables. Hyclass Ocean Campground, its staff and management are not responsible for lost, stolen or left behind items, or damages.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome to visit you during your stay but they must register at the office and will be charged $3/person fee for the day and must leave by 10pm or $5/per person to stay overnight. All visitors must park by the office.

Occupancy of sites and use of facilities is restricted to registered guests.

Site Information

One vehicle per site. There is additional parking by the office. Do not park in other campsites or non designated areas.

Maximum 2 tents per site (if the site is big enough). There are no tents permitted in the full hook up area. 

A reservation is for 4 people. Each additional person is $5.00 per night up to a maximum of 6 people on one site.

Campground Rules

Campfires

Campfires are permitted in fire pits only. Do not move fire pits. Fires must be under control and supervised at all times. Wood is available for purchase at the office. Please do not leave garbage in the fire pits.

Kids

Kids under 7 must be accompanied to the restrooms by an adult. Campers must not leave their children unattended on the campground.

Alcohol/Marijuana

Alcohol and marijuana must be consumed only at your campsite. Management reserves the right to ask any person to leave without refund for excessive drinking\drug use or objectionable behaviour. Keep in mind we are a family campground. Please be considerate of the other campers around you.

Please note: The legal drinking/marijuana use age is 19 years old in Nova Scotia.

Quiet Time

Quiet time is observed between 11 pm and 7 am. You may have a campfire during quiet hours, but you must not disturb other campers. Outside of quiet times, you must still be respectful of your fellow campers.

Recycling

Recycling is mandatory in Antigonish County. Please sort all pop, water, juice, beer, wine & liquor bottles in container provided beside all garbage drums. Please take all large items that cannot fit in our drums with you to dispose of.

Speed Limit

The speed limit is 10 km/h in the entire campground.
