Broad Cove Scottish Concert in Broad Cove, Cape Breton - 3 hours 45 minutes from the Campground

The Annual Broad Cove Scottish Concert is deemed the largest outdoor Scottish concert on Cape Breton Island. Performances include a variety of fiddlers, step-dancers, gutairsts, pipers, and much more. Facilities such as canteen, washroom, and souvenir services are located on concert grounds. Typically is held the last Sunday of July.

Celtic Colours International Festival in Cape Breton - Multiple locations

At one of the many concerts you’ll find some of the world’s finest musicians sharing the stage with Cape Breton’s best singers, dancers, players, story-tellers and culture bearers in venues that range from community halls and churches to modern schools and theatres. With Celtic Colours’ ambitious schedule (as many as six concerts a day), it is simply impossible to see and hear everything. Celtic Colours International Festival will take place between October 8-16, 2021. Check out their website for a complete list of events and locations.

Chestico Days in Port Hood - 1 hour from the Campground

Events include: Live entertainment- adult dances and ceilidhs, recreational activities-lob ball tournament, golf tournament, ball hockey, sunset yoga on the coast, sand sculpture competition, community celebrations and so much more! Typically takes place the last week of July.

Codstock Festival in Arichat, Cape Breton - 1 hour from the Campground

The Codstock Music Fair began in 1995 after the downturn in the fisheries and is used to create economic development on Isle Madame. Over the past 24 years this event has gained momentum and continues to grow as it generates a large crowd of patrons each year. Typically the festival takes place on the third weekend in July.

Festival Antigonish Summer Theatre in Antigonish - 30 minutes from the Campground

Festival Antigonish has established an inspiring legacy as a premier summer repertory theatre in Atlantic Canada. Each summer, we bring together the best artists from across Nova Scotia and beyond to create an award-winning Main Stage series, a Family Stage show, and other innovative artistic presentations. We are housed in the intimate Bauer Theatre on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, NS. Check out their website for information regarding show dates and time.

Festival of Cape Breton Fiddling in St. Ann’s, Cape Breton - 1 hour 30 minutes from the Campground

If music is your thing, well, it's our thing, too! Traditional music ceilidhs are held Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer at the Celtic Tea Room. The Gaelic College hosts Wednesday evening Instructors' Ceildhs, lunchtime ceildhs, and KitchenFest during the summer high season, and the College is also the venue for our annual Festival of Cape Breton Fiddling. You can also take in classical and popular music concerts throughout the year at the Colouratura Fine Art Gallery.

Granville Green Outdoor Concerts in Port Hawkesbury - 30 minutes from the Campground

Granville Green is a free outdoor concert series held at the Granville Green bandshell, on Sundays, July 1- August 5, featuring great Canadian acts.

Margaree Highland Games in Margaree, Cape Breton - 1 hour 40 minutes from the Campground

Riverfront Music Jubilee in New Glasgow - 1 hour 10 minutes from the Campground
